Treasure Maps

New page! Here is a little tutorial page about Treasure Maps in Graal online Classic! To treasure hunt, you must have the Map Satchel. If you do not have it, check the Destiny’s quest in Graal Guides, it is in the room unlocked by the coin.

Before you can treasure hunt, you have to get some Treasure Maps first. You can see how many maps you have in your Map Satchel from your inventory. There are a couple of different ways to get Treasure Maps.
PicturePicture

  • There is one Treasure Map in a chest in the same cave as the Map Satchel. You should have already opened this chest.
  • Killing Bandits and Pyrats: **recommended method** The drop rate is rather low, but this is the fastest way to get Treasure Maps. You may have to kill 10-20 to get one, but it really doesn’t take long. You must make the most number of hits on the Baddy to pick up the Treasure Map.

  • Loot Diving: It is possible to get Treasure Maps through loot, but there are 70+ other loot items in the mix. So if you are specifically looking for Treasure Maps, then just kill Bandits and Pyrats.

However, you can’t even read the Treasure Maps on your own! You need to get them deciphered to be able to find the treasure.

You need to go to Mercator’s Cartography Services. This business is the second house to the right of the entrance to Destiny

cartographe

Inside, talk to Mercator. He will decipher your Treasure Maps so they are usable. Every day, he will decipher one map for free. But after that, he will charge you gralats.
Map 1 = free
Map 2 = 25g
Map 3 = 50g
Map 4 = 100g
Map 5 = 200g and on and on. Each successive map doubles the price of the previous map. So your 10th map in one day will cost 6,400g (plus the cost of the other 9…). But don’t worry. These prices reset every day. Every day will restart with one free map. The point of this is to limit how fast you are able to do this.

After Mercator deciphers one of your Treasure Maps, equip the map from your inventory. Open it shows a sepia image of a piece of the overworld. It is a magnified 14×10 tile area that coordinates to a certain small area on Graal Classic. Your goal is to find the exact location pictured in your map, and dig in that area to find the treasure chest. Touch the chest open it. If you dig anywhere within the box in the picture, the chest will appear.
